Man, this is giving me a headache already I didn’t even bother getting a CD burner until last year. I’ll just have to rip the floppy drive off of my girlfriend’s computer and hang it off the side of the machine for the windows install. Now, if I use the windows burning wizard it just says “burning” for a minute or so, and then gives dekuxe saying there was an error.

I’ve also burned a few audio and data CDs without any problems. It turns out libsata and JMicron don’t play together yet.

jmivron I’ve seen some boards use other chipsets e. Aug 13, Posts: After all my fiddling around I got both drives to work, and they do both now read discs properly. What should be a simple thing to explain now is made impossible.

This motherboard is a cool and stable platform that delivers extreme performance, minimum noise and maximum power saving! I don’t think the drives themselves are faulty, because they both went wrong at the same time, and they do actually seem to work, randomly, particularly if there is a disc in the drive at boot up.

Wasn’t following so don’t know what sounded weird: It’s really too bad you can’t do F6 drivers from a USB drive.
